How It All Started For ME?
Back in 2016, I decided to set up a strong career in SOMETHING & SOMEHOW.
My first job was as a ticket seller at a famous bus operator, “RathiMeena” in Chennai, where I used to sell tickets to people traveling from Chennai to Tirunelveli. I was paid a commission that I get from each ticket that I sell.
Knock....Knock!
I was introduced to the MLM business and the earning potential
I got into network marketing, started approaching people, knocked on their doors, and explained the BENEFITS of using the products.
The Excitement to Earn Money Soon Turned to Frustration
Decided to Get a Job

I remember a hiring manager saying, “Gopal, without being good at English, you cannot get any job.”
As My Frustration Grew, I Began to Question Myself
It reached a boiling point one evening when I accidentally called the person who introduced MLM instead of my friend. The moment he picked up, he bombarded me with complaints and criticisms for not converting,selling any products, or bringing in new people so that I could get a commission, which pushed me to my limit. I snapped and told him, I no longer wanted to work in MLM.
But, Honestly I learnt a Lot From Network Marketing
I started researching about “Make Money Online”
First Time Heard About Digital Marketing
I began researching it and discovered that CONTENT/COPY WRITING is a crucial aspect of selling anything online.
Guess What? YES, This is What I Exactly Wanted
I Made Some Bold Decisions
I joined the Grammar class
I Started learning content writing
I started implementing what I learned
I started speaking basic English with my trainer
I said BYE to the institute, thinking that I could write, speak, and read.
Here's the TWIST!
My Trainer Asked Me To Appear For IELTS.
I Don't Even Know What The Hell Was That?
He explained me the process and he said, “If I get a band score of 6 atleast, then I’m qualified to the first level of calling myself a content writer.”
Seriously?
Well, I Took The Challenge
Got 5.5 in the First Attempt
My Trainer Asked Me To Appear Again.
I said NO, The Fee for IELTS was 10K.
Trainer said, "Then Forget About Writing"
TRUST ME!
I Reappeared Again
This time my trainer asked me to prepare well
I literally thought, he’s playing with my life and money
Got 6.0 in the Second Attempt
It's Time To Celebrate 😎
I went with a sweet box to get wishes from my trainer.
He said, “Good Job, Gopal.”
He asked, “Gopal, can you do me a favour?”
I replied. “Why not? I cleared because of you, sir. I’ll do whatever you say.
He asked me again, “Are you sure?”
I said, “YES, 100%”
My Trainer Asked Me To Appear Again!
I Was Speechless
He asked to appear for General instead of Academic and he said, if I get 6.0 in General, I could atleast be qualified as a junior writer. He said, So far, I have been a student writer.
Trust me, I gave my 3rd attempt.
Got 6.0 in the Third Attempt
I Decided Not to Celebrate This Time
This time I went with an empty hand to get wishes from my trainer.
He said, “Good job, Gopal.”
He asked, “Gopal, can you do me a favour?”
Even before he could ask me to reappear again, I said, No. I don’t have money to reappear.
I Didn't Speak A Single Word
I Don't Want To Take Any Chance😂
He gave me a tight hug, kissed on my cheeks and said,
Gopal, You're Qualified To Be A Writer
These efforts led the path to Australia(Story for next time)
